  • Nothing OS 1.1.6 opens up augmented reality.

Yes. Augmented reality comes to Phone (1). With a better Glyph Interface. And even more camera improvements. Here’s our usual summary:

  • Phone (1) now supports augmented reality apps and experiences that run on Google AR Core. Opening up a brave new world of experiences through your camera.

  • Videos have reduced blur with improved stability. And now the indicator light stays on the entire time you’re recording.

  • For the first time, users on Reliance Jio can access 5G, as long as they’re on the corresponding plan.

  • We’ve made the Glyph Interface more fluid. The charging light also precisely matches the sound effect.

  • Beautifully realistic HDR content appears even brighter on your display.

  • The Launcher experience is the smoothest yet. We re-coded it to optimise the fluidness of the performance.

  • As always, we fixed some general bugs.

To get these improvements, go to Settings > System Update, and welcome the latest Nothing OS 1.1.6.

Can’t wait to update! So far I’ve been loving my Phone (1) experience, amazing it can still get better.

Launcher definitely feels smoother to me for sure. Glyph update is sweet!

Missing my phone(1) already…! The update seem impressive :-)

Feels so much smoother. New Flip to Glyph is great too! Auto focus on camera also feels faster and more responsive. Great work team 🔥
